Technical overview

Follow the flow. Then define who operates each stage.

A ReFlow toilet moves wastewater from collection and regulation through on-site treatment and configured non-potable reuse in the same unit. Controls and maintenance procedures support the process; they do not replace trained operation, sampling, or site-specific acceptance.

01 · Receive

Collect wastewater from the user area and regulate flow before treatment.

02 · Treat

Anaerobic digestion and electrochemical oxidation under the operating conditions for that site.

03 · Finish

Apply additional treatment and disinfection appropriate to the selected process and acceptance plan.

04 · Manage

Handle configured non-potable water, residuals, alarms, maintenance, and operating records.

Controls and maintenance

A treatment enclosure must remain reachable

  • Control logic and interlocks help equipment respond within defined operating limits.
  • Status and alerts help a responsible team identify what needs attention.
  • Service passages provide access to pumps, valves, vessels, electrical panels, and replaceable components.
  • Progressive startup, treatment-compatible cleaning, planned checks, and trained intervention remain necessary.
  • Sampling and commissioning records provide configuration-specific evidence.

Operating visibility

What districts and operators can review

Existing LooCafe and ReFlow software demonstrates a unit directory, assigned workflows, alerts, inspection photographs, and maintenance records. The views are operating tools—not independent proof of availability, cleanliness, treatment performance, or a completed repair.

  • Unit identity and location records
  • Configured equipment status and alerts
  • Assigned inspections and maintenance activity
  • Time- and location-linked inspection photographs where configured
  • Escalation and service history for accountable follow-up

Technical review

Match the process and operating plan to the actual site

ReFlow can prepare a configuration-specific technical scope for procurement. Proprietary process details, exact settings, supplier-confidential information, and controlled safety documentation are provided through the appropriate project review—not on the public website.
